Wish List

I have been feeling a little unorganized lately when it comes to blogging. Life has been so busy with work, selling my house, and of course wedding planning that I feel like my blog has taken a back seat. So, I apologize for this post being so tardy today! Ever since I decided to put my house on the market, I've begun to make a "wish list" for new pieces of furniture for my "new" house...(I'll be moving in to my fiance's house after the wedding).

Lounge Perfection

I love it when a lounge area is incorporated into an event...especially when it looks like an extension of a living room and NOT a club. A lounge area is a great way to provide extra seating that gives your event a special, and comfortable, touch. I love how the lounge area below incorporates colors from the wedding into the pillows and the coffee table runner! And, of course you know I love the hanging lanterns!!

Candles Galore

I LOVE candles, so of course when I saw this photo on Jessica Claire's website, I stuck it in my wedding inspiration file. I want TONS of candles to decorate the church, especially the altar...I think they are so romantic and for an evening wedding they will cast the perfect glow! I get all excited thinking about my wedding and I've been having so much fun with all the planning, but I never want that to overshadow how EXCITED I am to get married... to my best friend. I stumbled across this quote the other day and thought it was good advice...

Spring=Peonies!

I'm so excited its spring because that means peonies are in bloom! If you read my post yesterday, then you know how crazy I am about peonies. I love that they look fabulous in full bloom or even when they are fully closed. You can't go wrong pairing them with other flowers or keeping them in a bunch all their own. Throwing a dinner party this spring? Pick up a few peonies, slip them into a simple vase and you will have yourself the perfect arrangement!
