This should be another busy weekend for me...I'm going to tackle painting the living room and dining room at my fiance's house...I'm going to register at my FAVORITE store...I'm excited for my best friends annual crawfish boil...and finally, I'm serving a meal to special needs adults in my community. I am so glad it is finally Friday...this week has been soooo sloooow! And on top of that, the sun hasn't been out all week...talk about depressing. This weekend is a BIG weekend for me...not only is my house officially going on the market (fingers crossed it goes well), but my parents and my future in-laws will be in town for the weekend. Well, believe it or not, it snowed yesterday down here in Alabama...but of course, it didn't stick. It always makes me laugh when the weather man calls for snow and everyone runs to the grocery to "stock up." The crazy thing is that it just started snowing again today...NEVER happens in bama...2 days in a row!! I guess I'll be spending my weekend trying to stay warm!

Merry Christmas!

I can't believe its Christmas Eve already! I feel like I was just trimming my tree yesterday and decorating my house for Christmas. The holidays always pass so quickly that I find myself wondering where they went? I'm hoping to do a better job this year of stopping amidst the hustle and bustle to enjoy the real reason for Christmas and to savor the moments with my family and friends.

So, I'm signing off today until after the holidays (not sure yet if that means Christmas or New Year's too), but I want to leave you with a few of my favorite Christmas links this season...

Is it time to say goodbye...

...to white? I am so excited for fall to get here, but I'm sad to have to fold up my white jeans and tuck them into the back of my dresser. Is white really taboo after Labor Day? Maybe I will purchase a pair of "winter white" jeans to ease my winter blues. Don't get me wrong, I am excited for fall fashion, I just can't get my bank account to agree with me :) .
