2 Years...

 It is hard to believe that today my hubby and I are celebrating our 2 year anniversary! Thinking back on the memories of our wedding day, I am transported to the most perfect fairytale. I would totally go back and relive that day a million times over if I could :)! We've had some pretty amazing adventures these first two years that I can't wait to see what is in store for us next!

Hello October!

Well, I'm not quite too sure where September went?! It apparently flew by so quickly that I couldn't even get one single little post up on the blog. I have to say most of my time these days has been sucked up by Pinterest and Instagram, well and my full time job of styling parties for Celebrate magazine. I'm so glad that October is here for a couple of reasons....1. I LOVE fall! and more importantly fall entertaining, and 2. I am SO ready for cooler weather to get here. Before the cold weather sets in, I love to spend time out doors as much as possible. Always on the lookout for outdoor entertaining ideas, I couldn't help but fall head over heels for this gorgeous fall tablescape I spied over on Style Me Pretty. Washi Tape

Lately I've become obsessed with washi tape. I love how it provides an easy way to spice up some ordinary items....

I think I might have to try this last idea of decorating different glass vessels...what is your favorite?

Dressing Up

Why not take a gold Chivari chair and dress it up a bit? I love the special touch this olive green sash adds....the asymmetrical lines mixed with the feminine bow = perfection!

Oh so gorgeous...

Even though I've already planned and had my dream wedding, I still can't get enough of gorgeous wedding images. I find myself browsing my favorite wedding blogs for doses of daily eye candy. When I stumbled upon this image on 100 Layer Cake it took my breath away....I LOVE LOVE LOVE this beautiful image of husband and wife all wrapped up in an ethereal veil.

I got back from the Atlanta Home and Gift Market last night, and just had to share with you some of my favorite photos from my trip! I was definitely snapping my iphone camera like crazy over the last two days...oooo-ing and ahhhh-ing over all the gorgeous tabletop and decor items. I'm already plotting for a longer trip back to market in January! 

Mediterranean Bliss

If you are wondering where I've been over the last couple of weeks, I have a good excuse! I just got back from the beach where I styled 4 different photo shoots for Celebrate Magazine's Summer 2013 issue. So, over the last month I've been planning, propping and packing up for a week full of shoots. Below is a sneak peek from our Mediterranean dinner on the beach. This was my favorite shoot to style, and was definitely the one that took the most work! I'm not sure my co-workers have forgiven me for the long trek down the beach with all of our props so we could secure the best location. I think it was worth it.....what about you?....

With June coming to a close this weekend, July 4th is right around the corner. Unfortunately with the holiday falling on a Wednesday, I don't have big plans to celebrate this year. However, that doesn't mean I can't still dream of all things red, white and blue....

Cool Treats...

Down here in Alabama we've already had a HOT start to our summer and it's not even the middle of June yet! So, I've decided that I need to start looking for ways to keep cool this summer or its going to be a long one. I stumbled across this adorable idea on pinterest...sorbet in frozen lemon, lime and orange cups. How perfect for summer!? Not only is it bright and cheerful, I know it would prove to be a great way to cool off.

Summer's Here!

I can't believe it is June!! I know I say that every month, but seriously time flies and it is officially summer down south. Our temps have already been in the 90's and I have a feeling it is going to be one long, hot summer. Of course thinking of summer immediately has me dreaming of trips to the coast and gatherings beachside. I am so loving this menu idea I spotted on Ritzy Bee's blog. This would be perfect for any party on the water...or for anyone who loves the water!

Mason Jar Chandelier and some other of my loves...

I saw this image on pinterest this morning and fell in love immediately. I'm crazy about mason jars especially when they are used in creative ways...like for this rustic chandelier. I so wish I had the skills and the patience to make one for myself. I've got a stock pile of mason jars in my basement just waiting to be used for something like this! I love the juxtaposition of the lace table runner and feminine flowers with the rustic table and birch candles. Hello gorgeousness! To see more beautiful details from this shoot, click here...

I have to admit one of the reasons why I have been so absent from my blog the last few months is Pinterest. I am totally obsessed with getting on Pinterest 24/7 to check out the latest ideas on entertaining, home decor, food, fashion, etc! Crushing on Coral

Lately, I've been seriously crushing on the color coral. I just can't get enough of this gorgeous warm hue that hints at summer. Whether I am decorating my table or picking out a color for my toes, coral is definitely at the top of my list. What color are you drawn to this season??.....

Fringe Garland

I've been dying to make fringe garland for some time now, but of course something always distracts me and it never happens. I just love this party element and think it is perfect in bright pop colors for Cinco de Mayo.  Hope you have a fabulous weekend....I'll be enjoying a mexican feast tomorrow night with a margarita in hand!
