Bright and Bold

I'm usually drawn to neutral colors, but I am LOVING these bright and bold images....makes me want to throw a colorful party this spring!!

Paper Lanterns

Today is a dreary day in Birmingham. Its dark and rainy and all I want to do is curl back up in my bed and go to sleep. I found this picture below on my friend Marianne's blog and its starting to cheer me up. I love paper lanterns, especially the yellow ones in this picture. Marianne hung these lanterns in her parent's backyard for her brother's wedding. I think paper lanterns are the perfect decoration for a backyard wedding or party, but they can also be used in many different ways.
