Emerald For the Table

With Emerald as the new color for 2013, I've been searching for inspiration on ways to incorporate it into a tablescape. I'm loving these three different ways to pair emerald with different textures, patterns and bold color.

Emerald...

It is hard to believe that I've been away from my blog for 2 months...I'm wondering if there is still anyone out there reading? I made a New Year's Resolution to myself this year that I would be better about blogging, and so far 8 days have elapsed without a post. Do you ever wish there were more hours in the day?? I find myself thinking that constantly! Lately, I've been inspired by Pantone's color of the year....Emerald. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this color and its various shades. Here are a few of my favorite color boards incorporating this fabulous hue....

2 Years...

 It is hard to believe that today my hubby and I are celebrating our 2 year anniversary! Thinking back on the memories of our wedding day, I am transported to the most perfect fairytale. I would totally go back and relive that day a million times over if I could :)! We've had some pretty amazing adventures these first two years that I can't wait to see what is in store for us next!

Hello October!

Well, I'm not quite too sure where September went?! It apparently flew by so quickly that I couldn't even get one single little post up on the blog. I have to say most of my time these days has been sucked up by Pinterest and Instagram, well and my full time job of styling parties for Celebrate magazine. I'm so glad that October is here for a couple of reasons....1. I LOVE fall! and more importantly fall entertaining, and 2. I am SO ready for cooler weather to get here. Before the cold weather sets in, I love to spend time out doors as much as possible. Always on the lookout for outdoor entertaining ideas, I couldn't help but fall head over heels for this gorgeous fall tablescape I spied over on Style Me Pretty. Washi Tape

Lately I've become obsessed with washi tape. I love how it provides an easy way to spice up some ordinary items....

I think I might have to try this last idea of decorating different glass vessels...what is your favorite?

Dressing Up

Why not take a gold Chivari chair and dress it up a bit? I love the special touch this olive green sash adds....the asymmetrical lines mixed with the feminine bow = perfection!

Oh so gorgeous...

Even though I've already planned and had my dream wedding, I still can't get enough of gorgeous wedding images. I find myself browsing my favorite wedding blogs for doses of daily eye candy. When I stumbled upon this image on 100 Layer Cake it took my breath away....I LOVE LOVE LOVE this beautiful image of husband and wife all wrapped up in an ethereal veil.
