Goodbye Fall!

With Christmas decorations going up in full force, I guess it is time to say goodbye to fall. I'm always a little sad when fall turns in to winter...I will miss the color of the leaves...the perfect cool weather...BUT at least we have Christmas to look forward to!! So, with fall on its way out, I thought I would post some lovely photos for your inspiration files for next year....

Swooning...

I got home from my honeymoon and had this fabulous ghost chair waiting to be opened by me and my hubby. I CANNOT believe that I, after so much swooning over this chair (via the internet), can now sit in one in my own house!! AHHH! I am so excited....thank you thank you Brantley and Doug!! Now I just need to find the perfect place for it.  I'm sorry for being so absent lately, but I went home for a week, got married, and then went on the most FABULOUS honeymoon. I am bursting to show you pictures and go over every last little detail, but first I need to get the photos from my amazing photographers. I will be back after Thanksgiving with regular posts and hopefully soon I will share my wedding with you!

This is Fall....

I love everything about this gorgeous image....the flowers, the antique table, the gords displayed in the drawer, and of course the pumpkin whoopie pies! To me this epitomizes fall in the most perfect way!

Rustic Glam

For me, it just can't get much better than this! Ghost chairs...tree stumps for table legs...this mix of rustic and glam elements has me swooning! If only the table had a burlap table runner trimmed in lace...now that would be complete perfection to me.

Love Notes...

I'm not sure you can tell from the size of this photo, but the baskets on the back of the chairs are to collect "love notes" for the bride and groom. How precious is that idea?? As I'm sure you could guess, I've got weddings on my mind lately with mine fast approaching! I apologize for my lack of posts last week, but we had a crisis with our honeymoon plans...unfortunately hurricane tomas decided to hit our planned destination. But, thankfully my super resourceful fiance has made alternate plans for us that I think will be equally as fabulous if not more so! I'm hoping to be back on track with regular posts this week! Happy Monday!

Balloons?

I am starting to rethink my opinion of balloons. I used to think they should be limited to birthday parties...and children's birthday parties at that...but now...I think I am really starting to like them! What do you think?

A chic centerpiece

I am totally digging this maple tree centerpiece. I love the drama that it adds to the table. The rich green and red colors are the perfect compliment to a neutral table. And of course you know how much I LOVE those chairs!!!!
